This is ****ing fresh

Yo lyrics are bottomless, hard-hitting, and true

The beat is awesome too

Also when are you gonna make a sequel to Mini-putt online, eh? COME ON

Badass

I really like FFVI music already, but even without the nostalgia, this sounds really good at every point. I like the warps/distortions that you throw in every once in a while. And yes like the other guy said, the samples are excellent.

I had almost forgotten about you!

Then you come back with 2 awesome new songs
This one is awesome in that you can just loop it forever and it would never get old

Love it

So happy and uplifting and entertaining. A real classic Waterflame melody, but the bass background sounds really complete the song and complement the beeps and bells and strings very well. I think you have mastered this style damn well if you made this in 5 hours o_O

wow

First off -- production quality is flat-out amazing. VERY high quality sound.

It's a lot like Metropolis in that it sounds like a Megaman song, but the dn'b background really binds it all together and adds awesome texture to the 8-bit style melodies. If we're comparing it to Chaoz Fantasy, then this has a much more entertaining melody, and it is definitely less annoying *lol*

Sounds...

When I was listening to this I was reminded a lot of Kingdom Hearts style music (or other Yoko Shimomura works) due to the piano and wind instruments. Thus, it is very calm but also carries great emotion in that you feel like something terrible is about to occur but you must face it still.

etc.

Like you said, it is a mess. As a full song it is repetitive and almost bland, but individual melodies and beats you have in there sound really nice. I feel like you could build a cool song around only a segment such as the one starting from 3:08 until 3:47, for example.

Waterflame responds:

yeah lol deadlines right? >_> my own fault really. well, im happy with it the way it is to be honest, it was just one of those freestyle songs where i have more fun with it than trying to make a full length serious song. call it a jam, if you may >_> thanks!

So familiar, yet so new

Yeah the beat sounds something like Jumper, but then parts of it sound similar to Race Around the World or even You and Me. But it is still unique and distinct from any of your other songs. So really, it doesn't sound like any particular other waterflame song, it's just waterflame style. It's just that waterflame can make many songs that sound unique and good while working within his style (not to say he never deviates from his usual style).

Waterflame responds:

Glad its not too similar! :D i guess you could call it a mashup if you want to.. but yeah it certanly has my definitive style. thank you! :D

I heard this on HLSS one day

and it was AMAZING

BRILLIANT

ERECTIN

DISPENSIN

The voice modulation is hilarious and the tempo and everything sooo funny

o_O Oh my god I'm so hyped to hear this!!

Ok I'm gonna listen to it now...

The first RATW was more like the race itself. The intensity of the race and such. This one is more like the victory at the end of the race, and as such is a great sequel. It has a much lighter and higher theme, so it conveys happiness and relief more. Race time is over and the world is happy : ) Great stuff!

PS: That's one of the best intros I've heard to a song like this...comes in strong, but it makes sense

Waterflame responds:

heh, yeah thats also a way to see it :D and could work just as good. Thank you! im a bit short on words today, but i really apriciate it! :)
